Tuition

The tuition for each semester (15 weeks) will include one private lesson, 1 group lesson, and 1 theory or orchestra class per week. The only exception to this is that some of our youngest students do not have theory initially or some may wait an extra year to join the reading class and orchestra. The semester runs from early September (the day after Labor Day) through mid-December and from mid-January (the day after MLK Day) through the first week in May. (14-week fall semester, 16-week spring semester). During the summer (2nd week in May until the end of August) private lessons only are offered.

All the beginners will start with a 1/2 hour weekly individual lesson. As the students advance in the repertoire and practice longer every day, lessons can be extended to 45 minutes or 1 hour.

Tuition for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024:

• Weekly individual lessons of 30 min and group classes: $750.00 per semester
• Weekly individual lessons of 45 min and group classes: $982.50 per semester
• Weekly individual lessons of 1 hour and group classes: $1,215.00 per semester

Full tuition is due at least one week prior to the start of lessons. Tuition should be paid using a credit card and the online form available here on our website. Make sure you select the correct lesson length. We do not issue refunds. An Enrollment Deposit of $30 will be due by the first week of August to hold your place for the fall. This deposit will be paid using our online Enrollment Form available on the parents’ page also.

Please know that we have a waiting list of students desiring to join CSS.  We want to give you ample time to make arrangements, talk to grandparents or others who could help, etc.  Of course, if there are special concerns, please call or email us.
